Okay Fm’s Presenter and Ghana’s media personality, Abeiku Santana whose real name is Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana will be the new host for UTV’s United Showbiz program this weekend (29th January 2021) in a post on Facebook which was sighted by unitedshowbiz.com.gh. United Showbiz is a Saturday night entertainment talk show aired on United Television (UTV).
At the moment, the management of the UTV show has not issued any official statement to confirm this news but have then made a flyer thereof for this weekend’s edition of the show.
Netizens are of the view that Abeiku Santana was chosen to be the host of the show this weekend as management of UTV finds him as next kin who can take up the task of Nana Ama McBrown travels or retires.
Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana, is a Ghanaian broadcast journalist, currently with Okay Fm as the station’s Drive Time host. In 2016, he was announced as a Tourism Ambassador for Ghana. In 2017, he was listed in top 100 Tourism personalities in West Africa by Balafon Awards West Africa Committee of Experts.
However, according to a flier going viral on social media, the broadcaster would be hosting Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, Kuami Eugene, Yaa Yaa and Kwame A Plus for this weekend’s show.
