At Adabraka in the Greater Accra Region’s Korley Klottey Municipal Assembly, a two-story building was destroyed by fire.
The incident happened in the early hours of Monday, March 8, 2021, with no casualties confirmed.
Despite the fact that the cause of the fire is unknown, a witness said that smoke could be seen coming from one of the building’s rooms.
“When I went to the house to fill my prepaid card, one of the windows was s*****g. We broke down the door and discovered a room filled with smoke, but no one was inside,” the witness told Citi FM in Accra.
Meanwhile, the Ghana National Fire Service’s fast response stopped the fire from spreading.
