Earlier this week in an announcement by the newly appointed Inspector-General of Police, George Akufo Dampare, he made it known that he will meet with Ghanaian celebrities, bloggers, musicians and creative art industry persons.
George Akufo Dampare scheduled Wednesday, November 10, 2021, as the meeting day.
The venue for the meeting is the Police Headquarters in Accra.
The meeting was attended by many and among the attendees, was Shatta Wale whose presence has caused a stir on social media.
Shatta Wale has once made it into news headlines after he was seen in a latest video walking out from the meeting with the Ghana Police and GH Celebs.
This is according to a video sighted by unitedshowbiz.com.gh and posted by Starr FM Ghana.
Reports indicate that Shatta Wale walked out of the meeting for what he describes as unfair treatment.
In the video, Shatta Wale is seen exchanging words with Police personnel present at the Police Headquarters as he details his problem to them.
He was heard complaining that a police officer tried to question him for bringing out his phone whereas many others were doing the same.
“I have come here, I’m sitting down. People are taking out their phones. Me alone took off my phone, some policeman wanted to stop men.”
Below is the video:
Earlier, we reported that an Accra High Court has ordered the Ghana Police Service to release the phones of Shatta Wale and his 3 accomplices after a shooting prank.
Also, the court adjourned the case of reggae/dancehall artiste Shatta Wale to December 7, 2021.
