Ghanaian female musician, Bhadext Cona, has put social media users in awe after revealing that Ghanaian highlife singer, Kuami Eugene, has stolen a song she made to recreate it in his latest track.
This issue of Kuami Eugene falling prey to his accusers for allegedly stealing songs from them looks like a thing to stay.
In an interview on Rainbow Radio’s entertainment show monitored by unitedshowbiz.com.gh, Bhadext Cona disclosed that Kuami Eugene’s latest track word ‘bunker’ was churned out from a song she wrote.
According to her, she never expected the ‘ohemaa’ hitmaker would knock her hard at the back in order to steal a song she tiredly made and sent to Kuami Eugene to scrutinize it and give her feedback.
Bhadext Cona further added that she’s highly disappointed in Kuami Eugene for lying to her that his song was “childish” and later took it to heart to recreate it on her own.
She said she actually titled the song “bolga”, but little did she know that Kuami would backbite her.
“I don’t want to talk about Kuami Eugene because I am better than he is. He’s not better than I am. I am a better musician than he is. If you can steal my song and remake it into a new song, then I am far superior to you, “- she said.
“Call Kuami Eugene and ask him. He is aware that I am a better musician than he is. He stole the song and he is aware.”
She added: “so far as he stole my song, then it proves that I am better than he is. He is aware that he stole my song but I don’t want to talk about it.”
However, Bhadext Cona says she’s ever ready to take Ghana higher with her craft and music globally.
