Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and others namely; Kojo Owusu Koranteng, Idris Yusif and Eric Venator have been asked by an Accra High Court to appear before the court on December 7, 2021.
Shatta Wale was in court today November 9, 2021, after he pleaded not guilty on Thursday, October 21, 202 to the charge of publishing false news and causing fear and panic.
A court decision, today presided over by Emmanuel Essandoh ordered the Prosecutor to release the phones of Shatta Wale and his accomplices when they were arrested in October.

Earlier Shatta Wale and his accomplices were remanded into prison custody for one week after they allegedly fabricated a story that he had been shot and receiving treatment, which turned out to be a hoax.
Two weeks ago, Shatta Wale was granted a self-recognisance bail whilst the three others were bailed at the tune of ¢100,000 and two sureties each.
The self-acclaimed dancehall king, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah on Tuesday, October 19, turned himself in after the police had declared him wanted.
