Eliza Fletcher, a kindergarten teacher in Memphis, Tennessee, was murdered and her video of her death has gone viral. The video features her singing the song “This Little Light of Mine” to her students. She also shows off her dogs. Fletcher’s video was uploaded to YouTube on March 18, 2020. Eliza’s video has been viewed multiple times, as well as on Twitter and on her own YouTube channel.

Memphis police discovered Eliza Fletcher’s body on Monday, but they were not able to provide details about the cause of death until today. Abston, Eliza’s abductor, was charged with first degree murder, especially aggravated kidnapping, and tampering with evidence. She was a mother of two and was also the daughter of a hardware distributor.

Police say they have video of the abduction. Police retrieved several items from Fletcher’s home, including her computer and lawn shears. They also offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to her capture. This latest development has left her family and friends frantic. Although the video is disturbing, there’s no concrete evidence that the abductor acted alone.

Despite the disturbing video, the Memphis police department is not releasing the identity of the perpetrator. Eliza Fletcher was a married mother of two and a pre-kindergarten teacher. She was kidnapped on Friday morning. Her kidnapper, Cleotha Abston, was convicted of kidnapping in 2001. Abston had posted photos of guns on Facebook.
