Fareedah Oyolola, a little girl, has become one of the world’s finest students after passing her SCAT examinations with flying colours.
Fareedah, a John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth honoree, was selected to attend summer training overseas.
The girl was grateful to her professors for their dedication to her, which had a major impact on her academic performance.
The honor was bestowed upon her due to her performance on the School and College Ability Test (SCAT).
The exam is administered as a requirement before any student can be admitted to the centre’s talent programme.
Fareedah reflected on her test experience and stated she was happy with her results since she felt her professors had prepared her well for the exam.
Director Virginia Roach expressed her satisfaction with a student’s SCAT exam result by saying that the student’s passion for learning was evident.
Magdelene Okrikri, Fareedah’s principal, expressed her delight at the student’s performance, adding it fills her with joy.
She said: “Fareedah’s achievement is a testament that our Thinking School programme is rewarding to our students, helping them to develop mentally and strengthening their cognitive abilities.”
The John Hopkins program, as previously mentioned, is a youth-focused effort. People who pass this exam will have the option of going to either America or Hong Kong for their summer programme.
