Veteran Kumawood actor, Samuel Manu famed Agya Manu’s funeral arrangements have been announced.
Mr Manu passed away on June 15 2021 after a short illness.
His one-week observation was held on Friday, June 26, 2021 at the Accra Arts Centre.
Following proper line-up and arrangements, his final burial service has been announced.
According to his obituary poster shared on social media, the actor’s burial service will be held from the 20th of August to 21st with strict adherence to the COVID-19 protocols.
On Sunday, the government announced tight restrictions for social gathering due to the continuous increase in the number of COVID-19 cases recorded every day as the new variant made it way to Ghana.
In his submission, funerals and all other social gatherings are expected to hold on until further notice.
Raising the point that Agya Manu’s burial service will be held following the tight Covid-19 restrictions introduced.
A wake-keeping will be observed on Friday, burial on Saturday and final funeral rites and thanksgiving ceremony will be held on Sunday.

Agya Manu left behind five children and five great-grandchildren.
