
The maiden edition of the Pulse Influencer Awards came off last night on Saturday, October 9, 2021 and was held at the premises of Pulse Ghana in East Legon, Accra.
The event honoured influencers in some notable categories which include Fashion and Beauty, Media, Travel & Leisure, Lifestyle Music, Photography, Acting, Social Media etc.
Among the winners of the Pulse Influencer Awards Ghana were Stonebwoy and his wife, Dr Louisa Ansong Satekla who won ‘Music Influencer of the Year’ and Health and ‘Fitness Influencer of the Year’ respectively.
Ghanaian TikTok star, Asantewaa won the ‘Tik Tok Influencer of the Year’ award. Asantewaa, gained online prominence during the Covid-19 lockdown when the use of TikTok became a fashion, garnering a huge following in less than a year.
Ghanaian comedian and Shatta Wale’s look-alike, Made in Ghana won the ‘Media Influencer of the Year’ award.

Pulse Influencer Awards was set up to recognize and highlight bright lights in the influencer space in Africa who are building actively engaged communities around their niche or craft.
Pulse is operative in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Senegal, and the awards will take place in each of these markets, featuring various categories and platforms.
