Afrobeat/Afro-fusion singer, Jackeline Acheampong known professionally as Gyakie has been featured by British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Focus on Africa.
She got featured by BBC after she made an appearance on Billboard Times Square under the Spotify Equal initiative for her song.
The 21-year old singer has therefore being named as the first African artiste to partner with Spotify on their Equal Initiative.

A few days ago, Spotify launched its equal program for female artists, a new initiative dedicated to women in music and audio.
What the Program Entails?
Spotify aims to foster equity for women in audio with the official launch of its EQUAL Music Program and the inaugural class of 35 female artists from around the world — including Saweetie, Natalia Lafourcade, and Tkay Maidza — who will receive playlist support, marketing, and more for the next year.
