‘I became a hookup girl after SHS when my mother died in 2014’ – Young Ghanaian Actress shares her experience

Stephanie Barasu, a young Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur has shared her story after completing Senior High School (SHS).

According to Stephanie Barasu, she entered into hookup business and started her life as a hookup girl after her mother passed away in 2014.

Sharing her story with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, Stephanie she traveled from Volta Region to Accra to hustle and was introduced into the business.

”I started after SHS right after my mom died in 2014. I travelled to Accra from the Volta region to hustle.

Eventually, I was introduced to it by a late friend.

I began doing naked live videos on Facebook and later continued with Snapchat premium”

According to Stephanie, becoming a hookup girl was the only option available for her survival.

When asked what she gained in the business being a hookup girl, Stephanie said she made nothing out of it.

She disclosed that she decided to quit the act because ”one time, a client stole my phone and money after we had sex.

Other times they do not pay after the service.

They will tell me that they will send via mobile money but they don’t.”

She revealed that about 90 to 95 per cent of ladies on social media are into hookup business.

Most ladies who are into the hookup business, ended up in it as a means of survival and not by choice’ – Stephanie said.
