Michael Okine, better known as Jupitar, was born in Soko, raised in Korle Gono. He is the second of three sons and his parents’ favorite.
Jupitar’s passion for music dates all the way back to his teenage years, but he began pursuing his musical ambitions in 2010.
He quickly established himself as a rising star name and earned respect and appreciation from his peers, resulting in collaborations with Tinny, Trigmatic, Eazzy, and Samini, to name a few.
His distinct style and musical dexterity have helped in the discovery of his talent beyond the borders of Ghana.
The dancehall took to his Instagram handle and posted a throwback live performance which he is seen in the video moving the crowd at the event. The throwback video “Greatness awaits” captioned by Jupitar found him saying;
”Everybody here suh, Now put up yuh lighters up right now. Dem Nuh Bad, everybody JUMP!!! Dem bad,dem bad ah Yob demma Ah Yob”

He is recognized by fans and friends as D’General and currently signed to a record label Fantasy Entertainment Group in the United States of America which is founded by Leslie Quaynor.
Jupitar who is popularly known as a Ghanaian dancehall deejay has released his first album “The One” under his new management Fantasy Entertainment Group.
“The One” Album holds 20 solid tracks in all forms of genres which features six Ghanaian artists including the likes of Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Samini, Medikal, Yaa Pono, and Tinny.
