Lynx Entertainment signee, Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known as KiDi has made a new record for himself.
The high-life and afrobeat singer has set a record as his hit song ‘Touch It’ made its way into the list of Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales
KiDi’s song which is trending in over 18 countries placed 20th on the Billboard list.
‘Touch It’ was released by KiDi in May 2021 as the second single from his album The Golden Boy.
Earlier, the song debuted at number 12 in the Official Afrobeats Chart.
‘Touch It’ by KiDi went viral following the Touch It challenge which saw Tiktokers dance to different sections of the song.
KiDi’s new record is according to new data published by Charts Ghana, which shows that the same hit track charted in a number of nations, including the United Arab Emirates, Uganda, Kenya, and India.
This new achievement raises the artiste’s profile and establishes him as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
Earlier, a popular Hindi movie actress, Farah Khan Kunder, shared a video of colleague Indian actors who decided to give us the Bollywood version of the ‘Touch It’ Challenge.
Farah Khan Kunder, 56, who is well known as an Indian film director, film producer, actress, dancer and choreographer who works predominantly in Hindi films, posted the video on her 2.7 million followers Instagram page with the caption “#friendsreunion”.
The video has since received over 1,7 million views, 64,000 likes and more than 570 comments, all within 24 hours after it was posted.
