Kofi Kinaata wins his fourth 'Songwriter of the Year' award at VGMA 22

Martin King Arthur popularly known as Kofi Kinaata has made history again at the 22nd edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards as he wins his fourth ‘Songwriter of the Year’ award on VGMA.

The music star beat of tight competition to win the award and was announced the winner for that category with his hit song, ‘Behind The Scenes’ produced by Two Bars.

Kofi Kinaata is noted for his fante rap and freestyle and therefore known as the Fante Rap God. Apart from his rap prowess, he has grown into a very good singer taking the highlife genre by storm.

The 22nd edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is being held at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on Friday, June 25, 2021.

The night also features performances from Efya, Yaayaa, KiDi, Epixode, Okyeame Kwame, Sister Afia, Larusso, Fameye, Kofi Kinaata, Dopenation, Bethel Revival Choir, Dead Peepol, Eno Barony and many others

The event is streaming live on TV3, Soundcity TV, The Base TV, Rok Ghana on DSTV & GOtv in Africa, and worldwide via the internet on MTVbase and on Ghana Music Awards social media pages.
