Majeed Ashimeru: Ghana midfielder marks 24th birthday as he makes big donations to Maamobi Hospital

Ghanaian professional football player, Majeed Ashimeru has marked a year older as he turned 24 years old on October 10, 2021

Majeed Ashimeru who plays for RSC Anderlecht and a midfielder commemorated his 24th birthday with donations to the maternity ward.

In a tweet, Majeed Ashimeru revealed how he spent his special day in which he wrote,

“To mark my 24th birthday and with the support of my family and close friends, we were privileged to pay some bills as well as donate some items to the maternity ward of the Mamobi Polyclinic. Thanks to everyone for the support and continuous prayers.”

Majeed Ashimeru is well-known for his philanthropic efforts, having previously donated to the Maamobi Police Station and to persons living on the streets in Belgium.

The former WAFA star donated items like toiletries, detergents and others worth thousands of cedis and also cater for the bills of most of the patients in the sick ward of the Mamobi Polyclinic.

Majeed Ashimeru was at the bench of the Black Stars when they humbled Zimbabwe 3-1 last Saturday and will also be part of the squad when both clubs square off against each other in the return encounter on Tuesday in Harare.

In October 2020, made a philanthropic gesture to inmates and hawkers in Ghana’s capital city Accra.
