The song which garnered two million streams on Boomplay, a media streaming and download service helped Black Sherif gain ground in the music scene.
The song later featured other artists like Tulenkey and AMG Armani months after the original song.
The song undoubtedly became a hit igniting a lot of talks and posts on social media.
He has since been referred to as the next big artiste to put Ghana on the global market.

To many, it is unknown that the instrumentals of ‘Money’ by Black Sherif was remade by an 11-year-old boy who is known by his social media handle as Prince on Da Beat live on a stage.
Prince on Da Beat happens to be a sound engineer and works at BHG studios.
Even though ‘Money’ by Black Sherif was produced by TubhaniMuzik, its instrumentals were remade live on stage by Prince on Da Beat, an 11-year-old boy.
In a video on YouTube sighted by unitedshowbiz.com.gh the song’s instrumentals were remade by Prince on Da Best during a talent hunt which was organized for children.

Apart from his stage name, Black Sherif also goes by the nickname Blacko.
Black Sherif is still a teenager, aged 19. He was born on January 9, 2002.
Black Sherif hails from Konongo in the Ashanti Region. He goes deep into the trap music genre and also fuses it with rap and singing.
He had his high school education at the Kumasi Academy (KUMACA) and graduated in 2019. Later, he gained admission into the University of Professional Studies Accra(UPSA) to study Marketing.
