Missing Woman Eliza Fletcher Last Seen at Home on Carr Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee

Eliza Fletcher was last seen at her home on Carr Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, at around 4:00 a.m. On December 14, 2017, Richard Fletcher, Eliza’s father, called the Memphis Police Department and reported her missing. He said she had not returned home. When police arrived, they discovered the cell phone and a Champion slide sandal. The items were turned over to the Memphis Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. The search for the missing woman was quickly expanded to several law enforcement agencies and multiple searches took place.

Police said the incident was a violent kidnapping. The suspect was seen running toward Fletcher before shoving her into the car. Eliza Fletcher remains missing. In addition to the alleged abduction, the suspect is suspected of possessing a controlled substance. KWAM reported that he had fentanyl and h****n on him. According to the police affidavit, the suspect had previously been convicted of aggravated kidnapping. The victim was abducted from Beale Street, a well-known Memphis attorney.

Fletcher’s family is offering a $50,000 reward for her safe return. The search ended on September 6, 2022. Fletcher is the granddaughter of late Memphis hardware businessman Joe Orgill III. His company was worth billions of dollars.
