His Excellency, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has named 34-year old Ghanaian politician and MP for Assin South Constituency in the Central Region as Deputy Education Minister-Designate after denying his appointment weeks ago.
Hon. John Ntim Fordjour appeared before the Parliament’s Appointments Committee and was vetted and approved and will be sworn into office as Deputy Minister for Education to serve in Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s second term.
Hon. John Ntim Fordjour will replace the Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum who served as the immediate paste Minister for Education in Nana Addo’s first term from from 2017 to late 2020.
John Ntim Fordjour is an astute and visionary entrepreneur, affable and selfless politician, and an ordained reverend minister.
Ntim Fordjour is a regular TEDx Speaker, social commentator, and bold advocate of anti-corruption and conservative social values in the Parliament of Ghana.
He graduated at age 21 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mineral Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Tarkwa in 2007, and subsequently awarded a Master of Arts Degree in Economic Policy Management by the University of Ghana in 2014.

John Ntim Fordjour is also a Member of the Governing Board of Ghana Integrated Iron & Steel Development Corporation (GIISDEC) and also serves as the Chair of the Investments and Strategy Committee of the Board.
