The clash between Ghanaian reggae dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr aka Shatta Wale and entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has generated a massive buzz on social media over the the past days.
Shatta Wale clashed with Arnold Asamoah Baidoo as they met on Nana Ama McBrown’s United Showbiz on Saturday, June 12, 2021
The duo clashed on the show during a discussion on Shatta Wale’s recently held State of the Industry Address.
Parts of Shatta Wale’s speech where he claimed he struggled to pinpoint a musical genre to identify Ghana while in a business meeting in the US has been critiqued widely.
Among the critics has been Arnold who described Shatta Wale as confused and inconsistent during a show on Okay FM.
Looking at the uproar that occurred on United Showbiz program, Vision 1 FM’s Kwame OB Nartey has blamed it all on the host, Nana Ama Mcbrown for her poor TV show hosting and moderation skills.
OB Nartey has therefore asked that orientation be organized for Nana Ama Mcbrown so as to help her understand the skills and abilities in TV show hosting.
OB Nartey made his opinion on Peace FM’s ‘Entertainment Review’ show last Tuesday which was hosted by Ola Michael.
According to OB Nartey, McBrown needs to trained and guided before going on air, a prerequisite for every TV show host.
OB Nartey described last week’s episode of United Showbiz as chaos and abysmal which made the show looked as if it was planned to happen the way it did happen.
OB Nartey stated that every TV Show is being moderated by a TV show host and he or she has greater powers than even her guests and panelists since she chairs the show.
And that it should never in any case happen that, a show guest or panelist refuses the host’s order or drive a discussion into a clash, fight or uproar.
