Today happens to be the 77th birthday of Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as he was born on March 29, 1944, in Accra and married to Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
His wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo has wished his husband a happy birthday in a lovely message sighted by unitedshowbiz.com.gh on her social media handles this morning.
In the post, Rebecca Akufo-Addo wrote, ‘Happy Birthday Mr. President. My mind dey for you’.
In a reply from Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to her wife after she wished him on her social media pages, Nana Akuffo-Addo wrote, ‘Thank you my beautiful Rebecca’ with a love emoji expressing warm feelings, love, and romance.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been in office since 7 January 2017. Akufo-Addo previously served as Attorney General from 2001 to 2003 and as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2007 under the Kufuor-led administration.
Akufo-Addo was born and raised in Accra, the son of Edward and Adeline Akufo-Addo. He received his primary education in Accra, first attending the Government Boys School and then Rowe Road School.
Akufo-Addo went on to the United Kingdom for his secondary education, studying at Lancing College (1957–61).
His wife earlier celebrated her birthday on the 12th of March this year when she turned 70 years old.
