Prempeh College, the winners of the 2021 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz competition has paid a courtesy call on Nana Akufo-Addo at Jubilee House.
The Prempeh College NSMQ team made the visit was on Thursday, 6th January 2022 to officially inform Nana Akufo-Addo about their win and to present the trophy to him as a gesture.
The presentation was made in the company of the 2nd President of the 4th Republic, His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor and the Minister for Education, Dr Osei Adutwum.
Among the delegation were; school authorities, members of the production team and the Quiz Mistress, Prof. Elsie Kaufmann.
Sharing pictures of their interaction on social media, President Akufo-Addo wrote, “on Thursday, 6th January 2022, the winners of the 2021 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz competition, Prempeh College, were at Jubilee House, the seat of the nation’s presidency, in the company of the 2nd President of the 4th Republic, His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor, to present the trophy to me.”

NSMQ 2021 Winner
Prempeh College has won the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), to bring their championship tally to five.
They won with 53 points against 49 points by the Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School, Legon (PRESEC.)
