Sarkodie opens up on how his first-ever album gave him a broken heart

Ghana’s highest rapper, Micheal Addo known in the showbiz circle as Sarkodie has opened up on why he got broken-hearted over his first album which was not released.

According to him in an interview with one play Africa’s Tully Akua Nipaa who shared the video on Twitter, he revealed how he felt after the whole vigour put in the project never yielded any results.

He detailed that he never liked the fact that the songs were unable to be released after all the energy, time and process it took to get to that point where they needed to release it.

He further added that the songs on the album were almost the same, just that he changed some of the words.

The SarkCess boss stated that it kind of discouraged him in a way but he never let his guard down till now.

The multiple award-winning rappers also spoke about why he’s never into direct visuals with ladies.

“My first Album never came out because all the songs were written out of a Broken heart,” he added 

Sarkodie is on a media tour in most of the African countries to promote his ‘no pressure album’ which first had it private listening in Ghana, then the United Kingdom and now in Kenya after Nigeria.

His private listening in Nigeria saw some top A-listed artists and media personalities in the country who passed through with performances to make the day a memorable one.

Artists like Davido, Jim Ike, Zlatan and others
