Ghanaian hip-hop/hip-life artist, Kwame Yogot has applauded Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale for his yet-to-be-launched online ride-hailing business which he announced weeks ago.
“Shaxi’ short for Shatta Taxi is a new and yet-to-be-launched Ghanaian online ride-hailing service by Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.
Shatta Wale put out the announcement on his official social media pages on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
A post on his Twitter handle read; “Shatta Movement fans are going to be employed. The youth are going to be employed, the street [boys] are going to be employed, yes we all can play a role in reducing the unemployment rate.
It’s coming #SHAXI.” Shatta Wale stated that the new initiative, which he believes is revolutionary, will help every driver earn more money as they deserve to.”
Speaking about the ‘Shaxi’ initiative on Kastle FM in Cape Coast, Kwame Yogot has lauded the ‘Dancehall King’ for such a brilliant move to employ the jobless masses.
He said “I have not heard much about this Shaxi initiative that you said Shatta Wale is coming out with because of my busy schedule with my song promotion.
“But I think that it’s a laudable idea for an artist to create employment for others to also get a source of living,” Kwame Yogot told Amansan Krakye.
He added on the Kastle Drive show “We all need to support this great idea and commend Shatta Wale for helping to curb unemployment because a lot of the youth are crying for jobs.”
