T.B Joshua dies aged 57 as members of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) mourns him

Popular Nigerian televangelist and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations, a Christian megachurch that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos has been confirmed dead.

His death was announced on Sunday 6th June 2021 in the morning by the leadership of his Church in a statement published on the official social media handles of Temitope Balogun Joshua, commonly referred to as T. B. Joshua.

Reports have it that the man of God passed away on the evening of 5th June 2021 in Lagos shortly after finishing a programme at his church. His body had been deposited at the morgue awaiting autopsy.

In the statement sighted by unitedshowbiz.com.gh, the church didn’t indicate what led to his death as it stands as a private issue for the family and the church.

On Saturday 5th June 2021, Prophet TB Joshua spoke during the Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting: “Time for everything – time to come here for prayer and time to return home after the service.”

God has taken His servant Prophet TB Joshua home – as it should be by divine will. His last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what he was born for, lived for and died for.

Biography

Temitope Balogun Joshua (born June 12, 1963), Died June 5th, 2021 commonly referred to as T. B. Joshua, was a Nigerian charismatic pastor, televangelist and philanthropist.

As of 2011, according to Forbes, Joshua was Nigeria’s third-richest pastor, although the claim was immediately denied in a statement by the church.
