Wesley Girls Senior High School in Cape Coast tagged WeyGeyHey has made chalked another milestone as one of the best schools in the country.
The all-girls school have been crowned champions of The Sharks Quiz Season 4 in the the Senior Sharks division.
Award Presentation
For emerging as champions of the most innovative high school quiz show labeled The Sharks Quiz (Season 4), Wesley Girls High School has been presented a gold-plated trophy which represents a golden book of knowledge.
In addition, Wesley Girls High School received a money prize of GH¢10,000 as a 1st prize winner plus other items from sponsors.
Presec-Legon Boy’s, took home GH¢5,000 as second prize winner plus other items from sponsors.
St. Augustine’s College (Augusco) placed third in the competition and received a money prize of GH¢2,000 plus other items from sponsors.
Sonrise Christian High School in Ho also placed third and took home a money prize of GH¢2,000 plus other items from sponsors.

Joel is indeed a Literacy expert and was exceptional throughout the competition.
#JuniorSharks – Princess (Christian High School)
Cool, calm, and collected, Princess was a delight to watch as she took on the English questions with ease powering her school to pick up their third trophy in 3 years.
Contest Results
Wesley Girls High School pulled the magic over the Blue Magicians – Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School – in the final of Season IV of the Sharks Quiz on Saturday to emerge winners.
With the two schools tied on 75 points apiece in the final round, Weygeyhey got the tie breaker right to send the entire Studio B auditorium at TV3 into raptures, becoming winners on their debut.

Presec-Legon were the champions from the last edition and were aiming at winning the contest back-to-back.

But the all-girls’ school made sure that history was not made as they rather wrote their own history.
Academic Contest
The Sharks Quiz is an intense and exciting academic competition organized by Africa Schools Online.
The competition is organized annually to test students on core competencies: Literacies, Numeracy, STEM and Social Literacy.
