Donald Wahlberg is perhaps famous for his two sons, Donnie and Mark Wahlberg, both of whom had started out as singers are now big names in Hollywood. The deceased father was born on May 8, 1930, in Massachusetts.
Before his death, Donald Wahlberg Sr. worked as a delivery driver, he had also served in the Korean War several decades ago.
Including, Donnie and Mark, Donald Wahlberg Sr fathered in all, nine children. He was also a longtime member of the Teamsters Local 25.
Asked how his relationship with his dad was, Mark explained, “My dad was the best, though my parents divorced when I was ten or eleven. I was pretty young. It was pretty hard.”

Donald Wahlberg died on 14th February 2008 in Boston, Massachusetts, aged 77.
In the Esquire interview, Mark Wahlberg remarked about being closer to his dad because he is the youngest of his siblings.
He said, “I would go to work with him when he drove his truck and delivered it to all the schools.
You know, both my parents worked very hard to put food on the table, so we didn’t get the kind of time that I would have liked with him, especially when they got divorced.”
